Today's teachers face huge challenges, including understanding as much as possible about how children develop and learn, what they know, and what they can do. They must be able to apply a variety of teaching techniques to meet the individual needs of students. Equally important, teachers must identify students strengths and weaknesses and plan instructional programs that help students make progress. Welcome to the 2003-2004 academic year! This year promises to be a time of change for the Prototype Public Schools

This year, we'll focus on math throughout the district. Our goal will be to raise our math scores on the state tests given to 8th and 11th graders.

We'll also be addressing the space crisis at the Middle School.

We'll be working together: families, staff, faculty, and administrators, along with the entire community, to address the challenge of space and the need to raise our test scores. Our students deserve the very best we can give them, and this year we will offer them our best ever!
