NMSS Announces Ms. Reed as Interim Principal
NMSS social studies teacher, Ms. Reed, has been named Interim Principal for the remainder of the 2009-10 school year. The principal position recently opened due to the unfortunate illness of founding principal, Ms. Hackner. Ms. Hackner will be rejoining NMSS as a consultant in January.
Ms. Reed has proven herself a leader and an exceptional teacher. She has been with NMSS from the beginning, as she was the first teacher hired. In the past two years, she has taken the lead on many projects at NMSS. We are excited that she will be stepping up into this role.
Ms. Reed earned her BA from UC Santa Barbara and her Master's and Administrative Credential from UCLA.
